Begin reading your new book.  Write a 1-paragraph response to one of the journal questions (see handout given to you in class).  On Monday, Mr. Miller and I will meet with each of you to come up with a reading and writing plan.  Have a great long weekend!

Folklore quiz tomorrow! Study the types of folklore.  The quiz will ask you to match definitions to the type of story and ask you to identify the folklore type of three different stories.

Folklore quiz on Friday!  Use your notes from today's class to study.  You'll be asked to know the vocabulary definitions of the folklore types.  You'll also be asked to identify the types of folklore some stories are (I will give you a story and you will tell me what type of folklore it is and why).
